  4. Interesting to find this blog on the other side of the pond. I have a small collection of Wellings sailor dolls. I would like to here from other collectors and sellers of the Wellings sailor dolls. The dolls have the sailing ships name on the headband. I am curious as to how many ships have been identified with dolls. Any input would be appreciated. I will get to sending photo sometime soon. From sunny warm FT. 5. Hello,
Great to hear from you. I am hoping to do an article soon about the Norah Wellings Sailor Dolls. I was told that there are as many cruise ship and famous ship names on hats as there were the ships from 1927 right through to 1959. So that is a lot of names. I think I personally have sold at least 100 different names. The earlier names on hat bands were hand painted and from 1940's they were printed. Hope this helps.
