This Baby appears in the Norah Wellings catalogue of 1933 and is not listed after 1938. She is model 839 and was made in sizes 11 to 27 inches.
Thank you to D.Bailey for allowing me to share these photo's of her Grandmother's Doll.
Her Grandmother lived in Guernsey and kept the Doll in a draw and only bought her out to for people to look at. The Doll lived in Guernsey until 2005 then travelled to Vancouver in Canada.
She is 15 inches tall made of felt,fully jointed with painted hair and eyes. She wears her original outfit of sheer pale blue dress with petticoat and bloomers. She also has her original blue knitted bonnet and booties with silk ribbons. I have attached her catalogue photo and you can see how complete she is.
